Bushells Antiques has dated this French Gold Snuff Box to the 18th Century.
A fine and rare French vari-coloured 18ct gold snuffbox, dating to the 18th century.
The sides are further embellished with rose-gold scrolling dividers hung with swags, displaying the refined neoclassical aesthetic of late 18th-century Parisian goldsmithing. No Maker’s mark or hallmarks are present.

This piece represents both a functional object and a work of art, highly collectible and a testament to the craftsmanship of the French goldsmiths of the period.
