Victorian Wooden Jewellery Box

Description

A superb jewellery box crafted from various precious woods such as Macassar and ebony with inlaid edges of abalone, ebony and bone with pewter stringing that dates from around 1850

It is in fantastic condition, having been sympathetically restored internally but retaining its’ original features.

Has a lift out lined tray for precious items of jewellery and it has been lined on the base for larger items

Comes with its’ original lock and a working key

Measures 11 inches long, 8 inches deep and 5 1/2 inches high

A really stunning item that would make a great present for a loved one
