For your consideration I am delighted to offer this extremely fine example of railwayana history. This English eight day chain-driven fusee wall clock was supplied originally by Kays of Worcester in circa 1870 through a business alliance with Skarrat & Co. and is in extremely good condition and exudes quality in every aspect. The recently serviced movement has rectangular plates with an anchor escapement and has been fully overhauled so benefits from my three year guarantee.The mahogany case has fantastic colour and patination since its restoration with a lovely sheen to it. The eight piece segmented wooden surround holds the brass bezel complete with sight ring and the lower door retains its working lock and key. Being a high-quality piece there are two long side doors to the case back box.
