Description

A beautiful mahogany desk chair dating from late 19th Century. It is a good quality comfortable chair and is very well made. It is an unusual arts and crafts style design with a sun-burst panel on the back, large turned ball finials at the ends of the arms and ring turned legs with ball feet. It has a nice upholstered leather seat with a studded border.

It is approximately 34 1/2" (88cm) high and the arms are 24" (61cm) wide. It is 20" (51cm) deep and the seat is approximately 18" (46cm) high.

It is in very good condition for its age. It has developed a lovely patina with a rich colour and is structurally very sound. There are some signs of age and use and it is not without a few small marks here and there but nothing detrimental or untoward. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
