Description

Good set of four late 19th.c. beech wood and elm kitchen dining chairs c.1890. Broad curving top rails on turned spindles. Over circular seats (height 18") made from single elm boards, beautifully figured and with a dished and shaped surface. Raised on turned legs, splayed for stability and joined with turned stretchers. Stamped with the number 311 on the back edge of all four seats. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
