Antique Early Georgian Joined Oak Panel Back Arm Chair C1720 W6372/21.4

Description

Antique early georgian joined oak panel back armchair and dating from around 1720. It has a carved pedament top above a panelled back with carved lozenge to the centre and shaped downswept arms on silouette supports and a plank seat above a lunette carved frieze and standing on squared legs joined by a squared stretcher. Hand & peg joined.

Measures: 40" high X seat height 16" X 22" deep X 22" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the country oak period.
