A superb and imposing carved walnut framed wing armchair in the Carolean taste, made in the second half of the 19th Century.

This grand chair has a tall arched back which sweeps down into the wings and out-scrolled arms. It stands on beautifull open-carved square section legs which are joined by shaped 'X' stretchers.
