Description

A lovely set of 6 country ladderback dining chairs dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. They have woven rush seats and stand on turned front legs with pad feet joined by stretchers.

The chairs are a good size and are comfortable to sit in. The seats are approximately 17 3/4" (45cm) high, 15" (38cm) deep and 19 3/4" (50cm) wide. The chairs themselves are 40" (102cm) high.

They are in good original condition with no major damages. The chairs are firm and the joints are strong. There are a few knocks and light scuffs around the legs and some minor age-related marks here and there but nothing detrimental. There is some wear and minor losses to the rush seats but they are strong and sturdy and certainly usable. They have all been cleaned and lightly polished and are ready for use.
