Carved and Gilded Cheval Mirror C.1920

Description

Unusual carved and gilded cheval mirror c.1920. 16" x 48" oval mirror plate within a gilded wooden frame carved with an acanthus leaf spray at the top and with further acanthus leaves to the sides and base. Angle adjustable with brass locking screws on a walnut stand carved with scrolling acanthus to the upright and feet. Some shading and tarnish to the mirror (which could be replaced if preferred), otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
