A superb example of Victorian Tunbridge Ware, this exquisite single tea caddy dates to around 1870 and showcases the fine craftsmanship for which the Tunbridge region was renowned. Made from richly grained rosewood, the caddy features intricate geometric inlay and banding, a hallmark of Tunbridge Ware’s delicate mosaic work.

The tea caddy remains entirely original, including its hinged lid, interior, and working lock and key—a rare and desirable feature for collectors.
