An 18th Century Sailors Tobacco Box.

An interesting 18th century Dutch sailors tobacco box, constructed from brass, horn and mother of pearl. The body of the box being horn cased in brass, with the interior base being mother of pearl, the lid is mother of pearl and engraved with ships, animals, and writing.
 
 
The tobacco box has some damages and losses commensurate with age, but overall is in fairly good condition.
