18th Century Opaque Twist Trumpet Glass

Description

Here we have what is basically a very pleasing mid 18th century Georgian opaque twist stem cordial or wine glass with a trumpet shape top and wide foot. Unfortunately although a lovely design glass it is chipped on the foot. The opaque stem is really nice. Apart from the chips this is a lovely example. If you want, what would be a £300 glass as an example at a fraction of the price this one is for you.

From a private collection of over 50 early wine glasses just purchased locally.
