Antique Set Six Georgian Regency Mahogany Bar Back Dining Chairs C1800 W6365/11.4

Description

Superb set six antique georgian regency mahogany bar back dining chairs and dating from around 1800. There are four chairs and two elbow chairs and constructed from quality mahogany they have a shaped back rail with carved leaf design to each end above a bar back and stuff over seat pads covered in a quality chenille fabric totally in keeping with the period. They stand on squared and reeded legs joined by squared stretchers. And with the elbow chairs having a reeded armrest ending with carved leaf handrest.

The elbow chairs measure 33" high X seat height 19" x" deep X 20" wide

Each of the four chairs measure: 33" high X seat height 17" X 18" deep X 22" wide

In very good condition being sound and solid and of quality mahogany with a lovely deep colour and patination oozing the charm and character of the georgian regency period.
