An inspired Art Deco chair of excellent design, showing characteristics of the Art Deco into modernism, elements of Charles Rennie Mackintosh etc.., a splendid chair of considerable design and aesthetic appeal.
The chair is completely original, showing some peg joint construction and original studded leather rounded back, whilst the leather is original and no tears, it was dry and now fed with leather nourishing treatment, likewise the beech wood arms show some rubbing which you’d expect we have undertaken minimal intervention with an even wax polish.
Please note the chair comes with its original squab seat cushion with original 1920s fabric.
