Description

A most attractive small French white marble and ormolu Mantle/Mantel Clock Surmounted by classically shaped lidded urn with flower head finnial and draped all round with floral garlands. The white enamel and hand painted dial is set into the ormolu case with fine ribbon-tied floral crest and flanked on all four sides by scrolled pillars. Raised on a white marble base with ormolu feet and inset ormolu panel.

Below the dial, the visible sun-burst ormolu pendulum is set behind a pair of tied and crossed torches.

Eight day movement chiming the hours and half hours. Recently fully professionally serviced and checked over.
