Heavenly Antiques has dated this French Gilt Bronze Clock Garniture to the 19th Century.

The enamel dial is fitted with clear Arabic numerals and decorative gilt hands. The twin barrel movement strikes on a bell and is housed within the original case. The clock stands 34 cm high.
Accompanying the clock is a matching pair of gilt bronze and white marble twin branch candelabra, each standing 28 cm high, forming a complete three piece garniture set.

The set benefits from excellent provenance, having come from a Grade I superior country mansion in the north of England, adding both historical interest and collectability.
Overall a highly decorative and well proportioned antique French clock garniture, ideal for a mantelpiece, period interior or serious antique collection. General signs of age related wear commensurate with age, with condition best assessed from the photographs.
