A stunning pair of 19th Century well figured, walnut marble top bedside cabinets, finely hand carved and of exceptional quality with fabulously rich patination, fine grain and quarter veneered throughout. The striking moulded Rossa Levante marble top of square form is raised over single drawer above single cupboard door flanked with beautifully carved shell, applied flowerhead paterae, scrolling foliate motif detail and both finely quarter veneered with panelled detail, lined interiors and fitted with decorative ring turned pulls. Raised above shaped, serpentine apron with an exquisite centred arrangement of floral detail flanked with s-scrolls, supported on elegantly, tapering and moulded cabriole leg with a further arrangement shell and foliate motifs on knee conjoined with shaped undertier shelf, terminating on whorl foot.
