Featuring images of children playing with a kite and blowing soap bubbles on the backs. The seats feature a scene from the fables of the 17th-century French poet Jean de La Fontaine; The Fox and the Crow, and another of dogs in a kennel. Each of the scenes within a border of swagged cloth and floral garlands and signed in the weave. Raised on tapering turned and fluted legs front and rear. Obvious wear to the gilding in places and a repair to one of the back legs on one chair. The upholstery is a little faded and worn but remains serviceable.
