A stunning Art Deco birds eye maple and rosewood occasional table, made in England and dating from the 1930’s.
This is of superb quality and has a useful and clever design. The circular base has a door that swings open to reveal a cabinet space, and two beautifully made hinged drawers that swing outwards as well. The back has open shelving space, this has a lovely raised circular top that stands on a column. This is predominantly birds eye maple, it stands on a recessed rosewood base which contrasts beautifully with the lighter wood.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent throughout.
