Pair of Japanese Imari porcelain vases, Arita, c. 1700, Genroku Period. The trumpet shaped vases, decorated in typical Imari enamels, with an unusual scene depicting a section of a pavilion, beyond a walk way. More typical decoration of flowering plants to the reverse of both vases.
