Antique Set Six Edwardian Mahogany Queen Anne Dining Chairs C1900 W6308/21.3

Description

Superb set of six antique edwardian mahogany queen anne dining chairs and dating from aorund 1900. There are two carvers and four chairs all constructed from quality mahogany and with high shaped backs above a single shaped back splat and with drop in seat pads covered in a regency style fabric and standing on cabriole legs with unusual spindle and ring turned stretchers. The two carvers have lovely shaped shepherds crook armrests.

Each carver measures: 43" high X seat height 17.5" X 20" deep X 23.5" wide

Chairs measure: 40" hgih X seat height 17.5" X 19" deep X 18" wide

In very good condition with each chair being sound & solid with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period. The seat pads although in fair condtition (no stains , rips etc) could probably do with recovering but this is easy to do being 'drop in' style.
