Description

Set of SIX Regency, simulated rosewood, Dining Chairs with brass inlays to the back rails and drop-in upholstered seats.

The hardwood frames were painted so as to simulate rosewood. The upper rail has roundels of a sort of celtic cross to each side with stylised acanthus leaf brass inlays to the centre. The lower back rail is carved with scrolls and a central motif, again inlaid with brass, in a rosette form. The front sabre legs taper almost to a point. The drop in seat pads are currently upholstered in a green velvet type fabric. In good condition.

Dimensions: Height to top rail: 32 inches (81.5 cm). Seat Height: 17.5 inches (44.5 cm). Seat width: 18 inches (46 cm).
