A delightful long case clock, with excellent ''flower'' showing on the oak in the trunk door, and on the plinth. The case has excellent proportions, with a particularly long trunk door, and the whole wiith a lovely patina.
The twelve inch square dial with subsidiary seconds dial, and a date aperture, is signed
Wm. ( William) Wise, Wantage, and has fine quality engraving to the centre. The four pillar movement is of eight day duration.
