Description

A fine quality solid mahogany cased 8 day Westminster chiming Grandmother clock with brass and silvered dial, fully restored and working c.1910. The solid mahogany case with superb original unfaded rich colour and deep polish, arched top with cornice to the front, sound frets with green silk behind to the sides. Slim trunk with canted corners and fielded panel base, moulded plinth to the base with original bracket feet below. The 8 day three train movement with anchor escapement, Westminster chiming to the quarters on steel gongs, sat behind a brass and engraved silvered dial. The movement fully overhauled and working, the case in immaculate original condition with a deep shine. Delivery and setting up available. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Measures 67.5" high x 13" wide x 9" deep at the top of the hood x 9" trunk width.
