The solid mahogany case with superb original unfaded rich colour and deep polish, arched top with cornice to the front, sound frets with green silk behind to the sides. Slim trunk with canted corners and fielded panel base, moulded plinth to the base with original bracket feet below. The 8 day three train movement with anchor escapement, Westminster chiming to the quarters on steel gongs, sat behind a brass and engraved silvered dial.
