A good original example of a continuous arm Windsor armchair. Attributed to the West Country, Yealmpton. C.1820
 
Constructed from ash with elm seat and hand drawn spindles. The legs, stretchers and arm supports with simulated bamboo turnings.
 
With a lovely natural colour, showing traces of original paint.
 
Structurally sound, with minor traces of historic woodworm.
