Fabulous Edwardian vitrine/ display cabinet made from mahogany raised on elegant cabroile leg with pad feet. This unusual freestanding pedestal display cabinet has a square top with satinwood banding and a concaved frieze decorated with delicate string inlay, below this is a more satinwood banding between boxwood and ebony string inlay. It's very elegant tapering column been glazed on all sides and having glass shelves will let plenty of light into the cabinet and maximises the view of items displayed. The single door is decorated with string inlay is complete with working lock and key. Like all antiques there are imperfections however this is solid cabinet and is still in very useable condition. An attractive well-proportioned little cabinet with gorgeous colouring and amazing patina that will show those trinkets to their best.
