A smart and very well made antique Victorian mahogany cabinet. It’s really meant to be a bookcase with doors. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840-1860 period.
The quality is fantastic, this is a useful size being quite large and containing plenty of storage space. It is also quite slim from front to back, so doesn’t impose too much. The doors are panelled, and open to reveal three adjustable shelves.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
