Arundel Clocks has dated this piece to the 1930s.
I have for sale a beautiful 1930-40s Westminster wall clock made by Vedette of France a very rare clock which has just come back from a full restore of the movement which included 3 new springs , The case and whole clock is so original it is incredible in a burr walnut with the crome extras and even the original instruction leaflet in French.

The Case
The case is 61cm high x 38cm wide with a depth of 18cm it is in very good original condition very shiny has had a lot of wax over the years very well looked after, with a thick glass front door housed in solid wood frame, There is no evidence of any damage at all.

The Dial
The numerals are also black Arabic.
The dial is signed by the maker Vedette.

The Movement
The movement is an eight-day striking the quarters on five thick gongs the Westminster chime and full chime on the hour it sounds really mellow a great-sounding clock.
Also, there is a lever to turn all the chimes off if needed.

The movement keeps spot on time over the eight days and is a very thick square-plated affair of top quality she was fully restored with new springs.
Overall stunning and quite rare in this original condition, the clock that looks great on display keeps great time and looking even better.
I could post but a collection would be better.
