This Art Deco electric master clock comes in an oak case with a warm brown finish and glass paneling enclosing the dial and movement. The French industrial timepiece features a white circular dial with black Arabic numerals, a central seconds hand, and the maker's name Charvet-Delorme Detect, alongside a visible steel and brass pendulum mechanism suspended with a cylinder. The wooden housing exhibits clean rectangular mouldings around the front frame and two small mounting brackets attached to the top edge. Measuring 44 cm high, 22 cm wide, and 13 cm deep, the compact wall clock is suitable for display on narrow wall spaces or pillar areas within a hallway, study, or living room setting today.

A master clock is a precision pendulum clock designed to send electrical impulse signals to synchronise a series of secondary slave clocks throughout a building or facility.

These clocks generally feature solid hardwood cases, such as oak or walnut, fitted with clear glass panels, metal pendulum rods, weighted cylinders, and electrical contact assemblies.

Authentic pieces typically bear the Charvet Delorme signature printed on the dial face, alongside visible electrical mechanism contacts near the pendulum base and original glazed cabinet housing.

Position the clock as a focal statement piece on a narrow wall space, above a wooden sideboard, or within a hallway to complement industrial or mid-century interior schemes.

Clean the timber cabinet with a dry microfibre cloth, avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or high humidity, and consult a qualified horologist to inspect the electrical connections before operation.
