Here we have a wonderful Scottish Arts and Crafts Oak chair c1880. As you can see the chair has great colour and patina. There are domed finials and a carved central crown with leaves. There is a moulded panel back and the most amazing twisted supports. The arms also carved twists and are a stunning shape. There is a moulded edge to the front of the seat and the legs are beautifully shaped with shell carved knees and scroll feet. The chair has the original brass casters. Of course the chair is finished in fine quality Harris tweed with double piped edges. A stunning chair in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 127 cm high 66 cm wide 56 cm deep.
