This is a fine quality antique English Chippendale walnut wall mirror, constructed during the late Georgian period, enclosed by a shaped burr walnut frame, with small proportions, circa 1770, in excellent condition.
The frame incorporates an old replacement mirror, which is in very good condition. The mirror is bordered by a decorative carved gilt internal frame. The walnut wall mirror measures 2ft high x 1ft 3¾” wide. The back of the mirror incorporates later pine vertical back-boards; hanging hooks and string, to attach the mirror to the wall.

Condition Report:
This is a fine quality antique English Chippendale walnut wall mirror, constructed during the late Georgian period, enclosed by a shaped burr walnut frame, with small proportions, circa 1770, in excellent condition. The fretwork frame is intact, secure and in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks, to the leading edges of the frame, but nothing significant, given the age of the item. The mirror is an old replacement, which is in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips to the mirror. The back of the mirror incorporates later pine vertical back-boards; hanging hooks and string, to attach the mirror to the wall.
