Athey Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
This handsome chair of generous proportions has an attractively inlaid frame, wide arms with cut out heart shaped supports, the back is adjustable by moving the position of the brass bar and the cushions are very elegantly upholstered in a colourful Liberty tapestry fabric.
With some marks / scuffs and minor inlay losses commensurate with age and use but absolutely nothing to detract from the chair itself which really is a lovely quality piece and we can certainly vouch for its comfort !
