Circa 1870. Magnificent Victorian Gothic revival carved oak throne chair in perfect condition. The tall back with a large, pointed architectural crest with applied Gothic carvings above Gothic tracery and flanked by two carved Gothic pyramids. The studded button-back above a large seat and the red velvet upholstery in perfect condition, flanked by acanthus carved curved arms with fronts, all supported on chamfered square legs.
