Georgian Hepplewhite Carver Chair

18th century
Description

A good sturdy mahogany chair in excellent robust condition. The central splat has the typical wheat sheaf decorative carving of this period. The shield shaped back is an attractive fearure. The square tapering legs are united by an H stretcher making it a very strong chair. It is slso extremely comfortable. It could probably do with being reupholstered. We can offer that if required.
