Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The chair is Victorian and made from Elm with a yew hooped back in the traditional Windsor style .
This is a good sturdy chair the wood has a good natural patination the chair is good and sound, the joints are all good and there is no wobbling, there are some old woodworm holes in the hoop but these have been treated
The chair is 34" high at the back; the seat is 17" high and 21” wide across the front
