Antique Victorian Mahogany Inlaid Open Armchair / Desk Chair C1890 W6275/14.2

Description

Superb quality antique victorian mahogany decorative open armchair or desk chair and dating from around 1890. It has a shaped top above a lyre shaped back rest beautifully inlaid with fruitwoods and above a stuff over seat in pale velvet fabric and with shaped scroll armrests and shaped support inlaid with fine stringing and above an inlaid fruitwood floral panel. It stands on shaped cabriole legs on a stylised foot and brass castors.

Measures: 36" high X seat height 17" X 24" deep X 24" wide

In superb condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany and oozes the charm and character of the period
