They retain a wonderful colour and surface to the walnut timbers and have clearly been well loved and looked after throughout their lives.Stylistically they have a slighty more formal feel to them than many sets of country dining chairs, although there is no doubt whatsoever that they retain that sought after english country furniture charm.The seat upholstery is in reasonable condition, more than acceptable for something that we would imagine has been in place for around 50 or 60 years perhaps.
