Regency Ebonised Open Armchair

A Regency period ebonised and hand painted open armchair, of generous proportions, in the ''Klismos'' form. C.1820.
 
With scrolled hand grips and concave backrest, decorated with harebell and Greek key designs. Raised on sabre legs terminating in brass casters, stamped with makers initials ''CW''.
 
Traditionally upholstered in a white figured cotton, structurally sound.
 
Slight staining in areas to seat.
