George III Cockpen Armchair

An early George III mahogany ‘cockpen’ armchair, C.1760.
 
A lovely model with out-swept armrests, lattice work backrest and underarm supports. Raised on square straight cut legs joined by H stretcher and ‘V’ shaped concealed dovetails.
 
Traditional stitched edge seat intact, ready for its chosen top cover which we can provide upon request. With minor sympathetic restoration, structurally very good.
