Exquisitely crafted, this chair features naturalistic carvings, with the backrest and seat skilfully shaped to mimic an open scallop shell. Dolphin-shaped arms and legs resembling conch shells and coral further enhance its intricate design.
This chair dates back to the second half of the nineteenth century and is made from either walnut or chestnut a testament to fine craftsmanship and artistry.
The finish has a lovely patina, shimmering beautifully in the light. With a charming label to the underneath for the ''white bedroom''.
