Exceptional mahogany art nouveau display cabinet with incredibly intricate satinwood and walnut marquetry inlay.
The serpentine front with flared dentil moulded cornice over shaped open section flanked by two glazed doors with fabulous stylised copper panels and opening to the original green velvet lined shelved interior, wonderful carved twist supports topped by Corinthian capitals, raised on inlaid tapering legs with shaped undertier shelf.
Normal minimal marks / scuffs etc commensurate with age and use but overall, the quality of this cabinet is absolutely outstanding and the level of craftmanship needed to create such a piece is truly staggering, the attention to detail in every aspect is quite remarkable.
