Antique Giltwood Arched Overmantel Mirror 19th Century

Description

A good English arched overmantel in nice original condition dating from around 1840. This elegant mantle mirror has all of its original gesso intact and retains its original water gilding in nice original order. The mirror plate is the original mercury glass in good clean condition and the original back boards are present and sound.

A very nice example and a very practical size at 120 cms wide by 120 cms high overall.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
