Antique Set Six Georgian Mahogany Dining Chairs Two Elbow Chairs & Four Chairs C1780 Ref: 6251/7.2

Description

Superb set six antique george 111 mahogany dining chairs and dating from aorund 1780. Constructed from quality solid mahogany there are two elbow chairs and four chairs all with shaped top rails above a central vase shaped pierced central splat and with drop in seat pads covered in later mid victorian needlepoint covers. The two elbow chairs have beautifully shaped shepherds crook armrests and they stand on squared and tapering legs all joined by 'h' stretchers.

Each elbow chair measures: 40" hgih X seat height 17" X 21" deep X 22" wide

Each chair measures: 38" high X seat height 17" X 19" deep X 20" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing the charm and character of the georgian period.
