Description

Early 19th.c. giltwood mirror c.1830. Original 17½" x 23" mirror plate. Wooden frame with moulded gesso palmate detail. Topped with a large decorative carved and pierced frieze featuring an urn and flowers. Original gilding chipped and worn in places to reveal the red ground below. Obvious tarnish and wear to the mirror plate (could be replaced if preferred).
