Dimensions:W: 104cm (40.9")H: 180cm (70.9")

Gorgeous early 19th century French gilt leaner mirror in fantastic condition.

It dates from around 1820.

It has its beautiful real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with a wonderful ornate floral and cherub crest.

It has its original mercury glass in excellent condition. Mercury glass gives a sparkle and reflection like no other and was not made after 1840.

This would be a beautiful leaner mirror in a lounge or bedroom or overmantel above a large fireplace.
