Antique Oval Gilt Mirror with Girandole

19th century
Description

This is an exceptional gilt mirror in really superb original condition dating from around 1870. The original gilding to the ornate gesso frame is in excellent order throughout, with impressive Adam’s style urn and scrolling acanthus and floret decoration. mirror has its original bevelled glass plate in very clean condition and there are elegant gilt gesso candle girandoles to the base.

This is in In excellent original condition overall.

The mirror measures 116 cms high by 56 cms wide by 20 cms deep
