Description

Beautiful 19th century French gilt Louis XV overmantel mirror in excellent condition.

It dates from the late 1800s.

It has its gorgeous ornate real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso egg and dart frame with a beautiful shell crest and scrolls on either side.

It has its stunning original wide bevelled glass with no scratches.

It would make the perfect overmantel above a wide fireplace or just hanging alone on a large wall.
