Pair of Howard & Sons Bridgewater Armchairs

Description

A splendid pair of Howard & Sons ‘Bridgewater’ button back armchairs, C.1880.

This original matched pair of Howard & Sons armchairs are raised on turned forelegs and splayed rear legs, complete with original brass casters and fully stamped to both the rear legs and casters.

The chairs have recently been professionally and traditionally upholstered in a light blue Howard & Sons monogrammed cotton fabric.

Fitted with pure feather down cushions encased in fustian, both chairs are in excellent fully restored condition.
