Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Biedermeier Armchairs

Description

A stunning pair of antique Swedish satin birch Biedermeier armchairs. They were recently imported from Sweden and date from around the 1850-1870 period.

They are of superb quality, with a beautiful and refined design. The satin wood frames have gorgeous colour tones and grain patterns, the arm and back rests are beautifully lipped and they sit on tapered legs.

We have had the frames recently re-polished and they have been fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric.

Depth – 27 inches , 69 cm

Height – 31 inches , 79 cm

Seat height – 18 inches , 46 cm
