Here we have a rare Irish boatbuilders chair i believe dating from the late 19th century. As you can see the chair has great colour and patina. The chair is exquistely constructed from Ash and elm. The Ash back rails are bent and go through the back stay and are pegged into place. The rails are also pegged in to the arm rests. The Elm stays and seat have lovely grain. A beautiful and rare chair in excellent antique condition ready for your home. Dimensions are approx arm width 27 inches seat hieght 17 back 33.5.
